He is the patient one, the sensible one compared to his two brothers. He is quiet and observant and sensitive to everyone's mood. In short, he is the peace keeper in the family.
Channing is a family man, he loves kids, he loves cooking and he's the one who brings the family together whenever he feels they've been spending way too much time apart.
He dotes on Lorelei as if she is his baby sister and continually brings up the issue of adopting her into the family. Or, have her marry Cailean and be his sister-in-law instead. He's not picky about the method as long as he gets results.
